SADE

Sade Adu, CBE, often just called Sade, is a Nigerian-British smooth jazz, soul and R&B singer of the band Sade and multiple Grammy Award winner. To date she has sold over 100 million records.

After a long break, she returned at the beginning of 2010 with the single Soldier of Love, which was particularly successful in North America. The album of the same name was released in February 2010 and reached number one in the charts in Italy, France, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada and the United States, among others. At the end of April 2011, Sade started a new world tour. Also in 2011, a double CD of her greatest hits was released under the title The Ultimate Collection, which included four new songs. In 2012, a recording of a concert from September 2011 was released, which was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Long Form Music Video. In November 2018, her song The Big Unknown was released as a contribution to the film Widows. In October 2020, a vinyl box set entitled This Far was released with the previous six albums.
